The United States Merchant Marine Academy's Alumni Foundation has selected Pentagon Publishing, Inc. to represent the Kings Pointer for all advertising. The Kings Pointer is a nationally and internationally distributed magazine with over 19,500 copies mailed out quarterly. The Kings Pointer is the only publication that reaches virtually all US Merchant Marine alumni in every state across the US and several foreign countries. The US Army Command & General Staff College's Bell has selected Pentagon Publishing, Inc. to represent them for all national advertising. On January 26, 1882, the School of Application for Cavalry and Infantry was established at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Over the years, the name of the school changed several times to include the U.S. Infantry and Cavalry School, the Army School of the Line, the General Staff School, the Command and General Staff School, and the Command and General Staff College. The Harvard 367, Harvard University's prestigious annual has selected Pentagon Publishing to represent them for advertising placement. Harvard University, which celebrated its 350th anniversary in 1986, is the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. Founded 16 years after the arrival of the Pilgrims at Plymouth, the University has grown from nine students with a single master to an enrollment of more than 18,000 degree candidates, including undergraduates and students in 10 graduate and professional schools. An additional 13,000 students are enrolled at the Harvard Extension School, and over 14,000 people work at Harvard, including more than 2,000 faculty. There are also 7,000 faculty appointments in affiliated teaching hospitals.
